I want to congratulate Coach Bernard Riley who has been named the Austin High School Athletic Director/Head Football Coach.
Coach Riley has 21 years of coaching experience at the college high school levels. He has spent the last 9 years of his career at Austin High serving as a defensive coordinator of the football program, head coach of the girls’ soccer program, and head coach of the track and field program. Coach Riley coached at the high school level at Los Alamitos and Lakewood HS before moving on to the University of Southern California as a student-athlete and continued his studies at National University (CA) where he studied Sports Psychology and Special Education. Coach Riley attended Los Alamitos High School in California where he competed in football, baseball, basketball, and track and field. Riley excelled on the gridiron (2X All American) and was a member of the National Honors Society.
Bernard and his wonderful wife Jennifer reside in Round Rock, TX. They have been married for 12 years and have 4 children. (Skyler 18, Canon 11, Maddox 10, and Rocky 8.
